Doc Merge v2.4.4
Doc Merge automates the process of turning multiple Word documents into a single document.
System Requirements
- Mac OS X 10.5 through Mac OS X 10.8.
- Microsoft Word 2008 or 2010.
When Doc Merge is first launched, the End User License Agreement is displayed. To continue, click the "Agree" button. Once a day, at launch, Doc Merge will automatically check for application updates.
Menu Options
- Choose "Purchase Registration" from the Help menu to be sent to the Pariahware web site in order to purchase a license.
- Once you receive your license, choose "Register Doc Merge" from the Help menu in order to enter your license information. An internet connection is required to validate your license information.
- If you want to manually check for a Doc Merge update, choose "Check for update" from the Help menu.
User Interface
- In order to add documents to Doc Merge's Document List either click the "Add Doc" icon in the toolbar to select a document, or from the Finder in OS X, drag the documents into the list.
- Once you have all of the documents in the order you wish to merge them, click the "Merge Docs" icon in the toolbar. Doc Merge will start Word and merge the documents. When finished, Doc Merge will ask if you would like it to open the new document for you.
- If you want to remove an item from the list, select the item in the list and click the "Remove" icon in the toolbar. Multiple items can be selected at the same time. Alternatively you can choose the Remove All toolbar button.
- Clicking the "Sort" icon will arrange the document list alphabetically.
- Click the "Reverse Sort" icon in the toolbar to sort the list in reverse alphabetical order.
- You may also drag and drop to change the order of the documents in the list.
- If you would like each merged document to start on a new page of the merged document, click the "Settings" icon in the toolbar and choose the Page Breaks item. Select it again to turn it off.
- If you would like the merged document to be saved in landscape mode, click the "Settings" icon in the toolbar and choose the Landscape item. Select it again to turn it off.
