To create a label to print straight from Barcode do this:
1. Choose New Label from the File menu at the top of the screen.

2. A new label layout window will appear and also a Tool Pallette and Tab Bar at the bottom of the screen.
3. Either select a pre made label template or click Custom and create your own label sheet, for thermal transfer and thermal label printers choose 1 across by 1 down.
3. Choose a Tool from the tool pallette shown left (ie a Barcode), and click on the Label layout window where you want the item to appear. The tool pallette also has a Rotate tool (for text and images) and alignment tools.
4. Edit the details of the item on the main Barcode window. The screen on the barcode window will change depending on whether the item is a barcode or a text item. (Shown left is the Text layer)
5. Click the "OK" button to change the item. Use the Arrow tool to move the item.
6. Choose Page Setup from the File Menu to set your page size for printing.
7. Choose Print and enter the number of labels you require to print to your printer.
You can also choose where on the page to start printing from this window.
Now you have the basics click Close at the bottom of this window to actually get started.
