THE “SWF DISPLAY”

The Swf Display is the size (width x height) of your Flash slideshow/photogallery to be used in the A2 Flash Builder Sw.
In the Composer module you can create the Swf Display with the format as required.

CHANGE THE SWF DISPLAY SIZE:

a: Click the button “MOVIE SIZE”.
b. Insert the size required in the fields (width and/or height) of the box "Swf Display size".
c. Press the key "Enter" to make the changes.

.

SWF DISPLAY SIZE OF MORE THAN 520 pixels x 390 pixels

Virtual Zoom:

The Sw uses the size 520 x 390 pixels as a maximum “work space”.
The “Virtual Zoom” shows the work stage size if you use a size of more than 520 x 390 pixels.
Modifying the “Swf Display size” with values such as 1040 x 780.
In the fields "Virtual Zoom" will be displayed a size of 520 x 390 - 50% of the real size;
(the relevant percentage is shown at the bottom right of the work stage).
This means if, for example, the Image Box has a height of 300 pixels in the work stage,
in the final swf movie the image will be 600 pixels in height rather than 300 (because the work area is 50% of the real size).

Padding

This shows the automatic value of the minimum distance of any Box from the edges of the Swf Display.

Using the value "0" it is possible to set the boxes to the edges of the “Swf Display”.

.

”Swf Display” ratio

  1. Free = setting any dimension in the fields width and height.
  2. 4/3 = an automatic setting with the ratio 4/3 in the fields width and height.
  3. 3/4 = an automatic setting with the ratio 3/4 in the fields width and height.
  4. 4/4 = an automatic setting with ratio 4/4 in the fields width and height.

Example:
1. Select the ratio 4/3.
2. Set up the value 400 in the field width of the "Swf Display Ratio" box.
3. Press the key "Enter" to make the modifications. The height field will automatically assume the value 300.
Now the “Swf Display” size will be 400 x 300 pixels.

Change the background colour in the “Swf Display”

Click the button “Option” in the panel on the right in the box "Background Colour".
a. Press the key "Browse".
b. Select the chosen colour in the new dialogue window.
c. Press "Ok" to make the modification.

ATTENTION: An assigned background colour is used in a Flash slideshow when images are displayed with formats other than 4/3 or ¾.

Eg A : image is not 4/3 format and the background colour is black.

Eg B : image is not 4/3 format and the background colour is white.

Eg C : image is not 4/3 format and the background colour medium grey.

Note 1: To show the background colour in the work stage, activate the check-box "Show Background Colour" in the panel on the right

Note 2: It is possible to change the background colour of Slideshow again in the A2 Flash BUILDER Sw but, in the creation of a multigallery, the colour change made in BUILDER will not effect the launch page of the galleries.
